> 24 hourI used these to help relocate my battery to the trunk in my Nissan 240sx. These worked out great and were the perfect size. I had a few minor gripes. I have purchased different wires from WindyNation before. These are not exactly the same at the other ones I have purchased. These are a more stiff and they have a more fixed curve. No matter what I tried the wire would not assume a more straight path. It was not a huge problem for me, but I had to plan ahead. So when I wanted to run the wire from point A to B, I had to make sure it aligned with the natural curve of the wire or it would take considerable strain to bend it. I cut one end off each wire to put on a battery terminal. I thought that would allow the wire fibers to loosen, but it didnt have much effect and the wire remained curved. When I crimped the battery terminal, I had to make sure it was twisted correctly. So I mocked up where I wanted the cable to go, and I used the cables natural curve to go where I wanted. Then I made sure the battery terminal was placed so that when I put the wire on my battery, it was not fighting me and trying to bend another direction. Hard to explain in words, but just imagine that the wire would want to be curved only in one direction. If you wanted to bend it another direction, it would take considerable force and would cause a constant strain. The copper inside looked great. Looked to my inexperienced eyes to be pure copper as advertised. The outer cover was thinner along one edge for the red cable, but not for the black cable. It still looked thick enough, but I wondered if this was why the cables were curved. In the pictures you can see both wires. Actually both black wires are the ones from this purchase. I wrapped the red wire in a foot long length of shrink wrap to make it look black. As you can see the label is gone since its shrink wrapped. The red wire was from another WindyNation purchase, although it does look short enough to be the red wire from this purchase. This red wire was much more flexible and maybe you can tell from the picture that the wire is very happy to be relaxed in an almost straight line. The red wire from this purchase did not really like that position so I used it to curve around the side as you seen in the pic and it worked out great for me in the end. Sorry about the pics, amazon re-flipped them upside down and sideways to their original orientation. I cannot re-flip them to the correct orientation.

> 24 hourLooks good, 1/0 is about the size you want for a battery cable . Hopefully the terminals don’t rust ( I forgot to see what they are made of ) . I’m going to use these on s boat in a saltwater environment. Appear to be well made.

> 24 hourSolid copper, still holding up great on my solar power inverter. Take it from me, this is what you want! The cheap stuff is worthless within a few years so you might as well get it right the first time. Buy this product!
