This product looks clean (I just received it) and felts just fine. its not actually 8oz though - more like 7.25oz. Not a big deal for my purposes, but for anyone who needs exact quantities you might be disappointed.

It is very soft! I use it for my little creatures as it felts very nicely.

I am not sure what I am doing but want to learn how to needle felt. This is a great quality that allows me to play and practice!

Be careful to watch the description as the amount changes depending on what type/color of wool. I was extremely disappointed to receive 4oz when I thought Id ordered 8oz, because I ordered a different color/type of wool without realizing it was more expensive (and far less useful, unfortunately). Live and learn.

This is very nice core wool for felting. Soft, felts easily and quickly to start a project, very clean.

I’m using it for an off label purpose protecting toes from each other, just snip off a piece and wrap.
