Very good product, and would buy it again....

I bought this power inlet in oder to wire a battery charger in a center console boat. I bought it for two reasons. First the inlet requires wiring direct from the three wires on the power cord (see picture) as opposed to having a female plug on the inside. While the female plug would make the installation simpler, it would end up with a 6 ft bundle of power cord tied up somewhere, and I wanted a clean wiring installation. The second reason I chose this unit over the alternatives is I believe it has a more watertight cover and in the saltwater environment this will be operating i think that is important. All in all a very easy installation and a short, clean power cord run to the charger. No regrets.

Easy to install no need for a separate waterproof cover. Good price compared to some others.
