This is a great little laptop that is extremely lightweight and portable. It can be upgraded to Windows 11 and runs just fine on that OS. Beware though... there is no backlit keyboard on this laptop. When buying an ASUS laptop, look at the F7 key. If it does not have an icon (such as the other F function keys) then the laptop does not have a backlit keyboard. I purchased this laptop to use at work, where I work in near darkness. I was counting on the backlit keyboard. Even though the product description says it has a backlit keyboard, it does not. I kept it even though I couldnt use it at work because I like the portability of it and it runs very well. It weighs almost nothing.

Very nice computer. Light weight, beautiful finish, great graphics. Hard for me to tell, it is perhaps not quite as fast as a high-end machine, but fast enough for me. I love the lighted keypad; I use it in my easy chair in front of the TV where the lighting is low.

I got this for my hubby for Christmas to replace his old Asus that was over 10 years old. He especially likes how light weight it is. The only down side is the fact that the plug to charge it is on the opposite side as the old one and therefore is on the opposite side of the electric outlet. It took a little bit of time to get used to but now doesnt seem to be a problem. The speakers are excellent and so much better than the ones in the old laptop. It doesnt have the built in optical drive but that isnt an issue anymore since he has an external one after the one in the old laptop stopped working. If you like Asus and need a new laptop I do recommend this one for everyday use.

I got this laptop Wednesday and set it up for my oldest daughter for her school work. Ran the task manager and the ram memory information claims it has 2 slots with one being used. I opened up the case to see if it had slots at all and nope no slots not upgradable for the memory is soldered in and youre stuck with 4gig of memory. Which the information said runs apps and programs smoothly?? Come on folks everyone knows 4 gig of memory and windows operating system what ever version it is DOES NOT MIX well. We all know that 8 gig and higher runs windows smoothly. Because I was installing some programs about 4 at a time just to see if the computer did what was mentioned on th details. NOPE running 4 programs at 4 gig slowed it down to a snails pace. This computer is a piece of trash. Im returning it and will put in the extra money for a better computer

This laptop is slow. I expected that from the specs. I didn’t need it to do anything more than some extremely basic word processing, so I wasn’t worried about that
