> 3 dayThis is exactly what my old desktop computer needed. We have a desktop in a room in the back of our house which is an added on room. Our wifi signal only shows up as 2 bars because of the exterior solid brick wall that the signal has to go through. I placed the wifi extender directly below the room with the desktop, and about 25 feet away from the router and I now have 5 bars.

> 3 dayIt is the best thing we ever got for our internet service. I have a shop close to my house ,my internet was not strong when I took my laptop out there with me. It puts out its own signal so when I need internet in the shop, I just choose that part of my network to connect to, its as strong as it is in the house. I dont know what we would do without it. If you have a large house or a location that is too far from your internet, you need it. It works good.

> 3 dayMy Linksys extender has been sucking bad. I bought this extender, plugged it in waited for it to boot up. I plugged in the extender in the kitchen (two walls away from router), I receive full bars from router to extender and full bars to the backyard and I can finally enjoy my internet ready stereo/blu ray player to watch Amazon videos.

Reminder:
- The working status of the repeater can refer to its smart indicator light.
- WiFi signal booster is only limited to increase the coverage of the wireless signal, but not to increase the speed of the network.
- When the repeater expands the signal, it does not need to plug in the network cable. It can receive the signal of the router directly by plugging it into the socket, and transmit the wireless signal.
- When the repeater is unplugged or powered off after the setting is completed, it does not need to be reset. The original configuration information has been saved, unless you manually restore the factory state.
