I highly recommend using cartridges with pre-installed chips as your printer will not detect the cartridges without them and youll have to carefully take the chips out of your old cartridges and transfer these chips to the replacement cartridges yourself, which will be a challenging and time-consuming task. Save your time and sanity and get cartridges with chips.

Toner ran out quickly, probably because it bleeds excessively on each fax page that came through, some with a complete black edge. Will not be purchasing again

I decided to try this toner as it stated the chip would be included. I have tried other toners that do not state if the chip is included or not and they do not work. I am very pleased with this toner. The print quality is great and it is so much cheaper than the HP toners.
