There is a lot of unnecessary whining about this bag. For the price you can’t beat it. It’s goat leather which is lighter in weight than cowhide. The USAF uses goat skin for their issue flight leather jackets. The inside is lined. The bag carries well with just the two handles that come together nicely. No way to just have one handle with a zipper in the middle. I don’t use the shoulder strap. Go ahead and pay $350 for another bag and it won’t be any nicer than this one. It will last for years. I love mine. It’s hand made. Now Stop your whining.

It is exactly as described, except even more beautiful in real life. The leather is wonderfully soft and the bag is well-constructed. I wanted something with simple lines and functionality and this definitely fulfills those requirements. It comes with a lovely polite note about the product and asks for honest feedback. The tanning process uses olive oil and it has a special feel to it.

Looks and feels great, hope it stands up to the two-week Christmas Vacation. Roughing it up a bit will only add characteristics of a true vintage bag. Seems the quad shoulder strap seams could overlap a bit more than an inch, but usage and longevity will tell. It is not meant to carry a freight train.
