> 24 hourIf you are looking for an oil to oil your fan this is your stuff! I revived a fan who’s motor was binding using this on the bearing. It also worked on a squeaky door hinge since I was in a pinch

> 24 hourMust have for around the house and in the garage. Use it for many things, squeaky doors, tight tools, rust prevention.

> 24 hourAs far as I can tell this oil is fine. Much better value than the B&G oil and should be just as good.

> 24 hourUsed this to lubricate a small fan and get it working properly again. Worked wonderfully for that purpose.

> 24 hourThis is a handy bottle to have by the crosscut shredder to keep it lubricated to handle thicknesses of paper, as well as credit cards and CD/DVDs of data to be destroyed. Read you shredder instructions for its maintenance advice. For us, this fits the bill and wasnt too expensive. You may find it more cheaply in a local hardware store. Check there first.

> 24 hourI used this product to oil my window fan, unfortunately i used the regular black 3 in 1 in it some years ago as it was really hot and i needed a fan, unfortunately i kind of forgot about it having detergent oil in it and used it for another 4 years, it was too far gone as it was making electrical burning smells after just reoiling the bearings with this proper oil, i dont blame 3 in 1, if anything the wrong product i chose of theirs helped, that fan lasted 4 more years and it was dead 4 years ago. I have other fans like my crofton tower fan and my honeywell turboforce fan i will not hesitate to continue to use this product on!

> 24 hourI took them apart 3 years ago and used the 3in1 oil in the black bottle. Trouble is that oil becomes a black tar so I had to take them apart and do them again had to wire brush off the black tar . I used 30weight none detergent oil on the Lakewood and this sears compressor oil that does not state what type it is. Both these fans have oil ports and a wicking packing yet it has the old wrong oil. Both fans began the make noise on the front bushing , these are not bronze bushings they are steel. I had to keep removing the front cover and wipe the slight black film off and work the shaft in and out to clean this and re oil until they were clean. I got this oil because the Patton fan kept doing this so I used this oil and its been fine for a month and no noise. If they start this again . I need to remove the old packing because when the bushings get hot the wrong oil gets back in then use this oil on both. Point is I cant use the oil ports because of the wrong oil in the old packing will get back in the bushings. With heat alone it does. I will wait until any noise starts again then replace the packing and use this oil and should be fine. These fans are from 1991 . Took years before either made noise , I have no idea if the wick packing was oiled and the bushings or why wick packing was used for steel bushings, I assume its for holding oil released by heat. Point is dont use anything other than this 3 in 1 20 weight none detergent oil thats what Mcmillen who makes these old motors told me to use 20 weight none detergent motor oil.

> 24 hourI have recently gotten in to rescuing old fans. I prefer the old fans with metal blades and barely present guards; I call them finger-remover fans. They will last dang near forever with proper maintenance. This oil is perfect for the bronze sleeves in the motors. It is not too heavy so it gets into all of the nooks and crannys, but yet is not too thin so it doesnt run off or get depleted as quickly. This oil lubricates very well and adds a good layer of lasting protection to the shaft and bushings. I will be buying more of this as needed for my antique fans.
