> 3 dayI had some loose black trim on my beater car. This was the cheap & easy way to secure it down unobtrusively. Its held up through heat, wet weather, and the cold. I tried a couple of other tapes made for that purpose but they sucked. This works.

> 3 dayI expected a 3M product to be terrific which is why I bought this brand of duct tape. But it didnt stick to the plastic item I needed it to. So although it tears very nicely by hand it doesnt serve the main purpose I bought it for. I consider this purchase a waste of money.

> 3 dayI ruined my car’s side mirror and needed a temporary fix and so I was looking for a black duct tape to match my car’s paint. This tape does not tear clean. There are white strips showing which stands out because the tape is black. Adhesive is okay. It starts peeling up after a few days.

> 3 dayIt was very hard to get the tape off the roll without tearing it into small strips.

> 3 dayQuite ok.. but was expecting more thickness and better adhesion. Good for normal packing, but bit thoughtful for heavy package packing.

> 3 dayHave no idea how people are using this. This tape barely sticks to anything. Thought I could trust it because its 3M but I guess not.

> 3 dayDoes not stick very long and tape is thin like painters masking tape

> 3 dayI think 3M is a quality product and is probably the best brand for duct tape. That being said, I was hoping to use this in the inside of my black leather boots where the man made leather is peeling. Unfortunately the tape wouldn’t stick to the material under the peal. So essentially it stuck to the peeling top later but didn’t stick to the layer underneath. Therefore it didn’t do what I was hoping it would do. I wonder if the traditional silver duct tape may have worked better than this black one.
