I officiate High School track meet and have accumulated quite a bid of gear; tape measures, starter pistols, clip boards, stop watches etc. This bag holds it all along with water bottles and I can strap an umbrella to the top for foul weather. Its reasonably water resistant and seems sturdy enough to make it through a few years of hard use. I carry about 25 pounds of equipment. I like this bag, I had a back pack which held most of this stuff and if I put it on the ground it would fall over and always gave me trouble finding things. This bag sits up nice and opens wide to view everything. The only thing I would change is the top, it has two zip compartments and a Velcro flap which hold paper and pens. The problem I have is when the top is open it flips over and the compartments are upside down. it would be great if they were the other way around or there were straps to hold the top vertical. Other than that its a great bag.

This is a good size bag with good build quality. I have had this bag for a while now and it is still holding up really good.

Great size, lots of pockets to separate specific items that I do not want just chucked into a bag. I can quickly locate the items I need NOW.

Ive been buying 5.11 products for most of my adult life in the military and LEO gigs. Ive always used their backpack style bags but food and stuff gets crushed under the weight of water bottles. I wanted a new bag, one that let me sort my stuff and made it easy to grab something without shuffling through the contents. I saw this bag and fell in love. The dimensions are huge and its very sturdy. I can fit a gallon jug of water on one end, plus tons of food, papers, extra socks, etc. There are plenty of pockets for storing little items and the carrying strap is tough as heck. Ive only had it two months, so I cant tell you how long it will last but I CAN tell you that as long as 5.11 makes this bag, its the only one Ill ever own again.

This bag is great. It has plenty of room for my portable DVD player, PSP and 3ds. Theres is also room for DVDs and plenty of games. I guess if you need to bring work stuff with you theres room for that also. The zippers and material are great quality. Theres plenty of pockets. I dont really care for the middle divider thing on the inside, it seems sorta cheap. The middle part is the only downside but still worth 5 stars

Plenty of room and pockets. Holds up well. I use this as my Go-bag for my CSI scenes to hold extra equipment, rain jacket, vest, and other bits and pieces I may need on a scene. It has currently survived a SUV running over it, and it escaped with a new tire-track design. Some of the plastic items within didnt, but items deeper in the bag (more cushion) survived with no damage.

I have destroyed more luggage over the last 30 years than I want to think about. I refuse to spend the money on a TUMI bag. I have destroyed very expensive Coach bags, and even a super expensive Zero Haliburton hardcase. I stuff my cases with paper and myriad cords and devices. This cop bag has become my working briefcase. Its size garners comments (how can you carry such a big bag???). It is BIG (i need it to be) but it is LIGHT, tough, and (generally) well designed. It doesnt look like a typical briefcase but it is NOT out of place in a business setting -- it doesnt scream police or military equipment.: The ONE thing I wish for is a larger external pocket big enough for my small laptop --- for temporary stowing as I go through airport security. I am considering buying another to have in reserve after I destroy this one ... though it is holding up really well, so I do not know when that will be.

I know the dimensions were posted for this bag; however, its much larger than I anticipated. I thought it would be too small. Its perfect. Really deep. Sturdy. Stands on its own. The water bottle holders fit 1 liter poland spring bottles completely. The side pockets are alright. Small, but good for holding things like screwdrivers and tools. I havent found a use for the front outer pocket. Its a bit tight. Maybe some folded documents. The maglite holder is useless. It will fit on a 4D+ maglite which is fine; but, it wont hold it secure and it slips out from the back end and hangs. The pockets and pen holders on the inside of the flap are great. I have pens, phone charger, batteries for flashlight, and medicine in this part. The larger interior pocket is great. Very deep and wide enough to fit a Cold Steel Trench Hawk in. (Or SOG Tactical Hawk). Right now with the dividers I have a Trench hawk, Gerber LMF 2 in the longer section. 4 boxes of 9mm (50rnd) ammo in the smaller section. A change of clothes and a box of (200) nitrile gloves. There is plenty of room for more stuff. I purchased this bag as a go bag for my car for everyday. Still have to fill it with more stuff like medical supplies, etc. The construction of this bag is great. Im really liking the 5.11 brand. (I havent tried their boots; but seeing them on other people after use and hearing them complain about comfort I doubt Ill be switching from bates any time soon.) The only complaint I have is the divider on the inside is a bit hard to attach properly. Its great that it can be removed but its a little tricky getting the velcro seated perfect. Not really an issue just anal about it. Perfect size to hold a lot of gear and still fits perfectly on a front seat. Highly recommend this bag.
