> 24 hourThis is one of the news toys I got to add to my budgies new big cage. It seems to be a HUGE hit with him!! He perches by it when he sleeps at night and it seems to be one of the first things he starts playing with when he wakes up in the morning. Most parrot-type birds like to shred stuff and he is no exception. It keeps them busy and prevents boredom. Hes still a baby but already enjoying the satisfaction of tearing stuff up. This is an excellent shredding toy for little birds. I think itll last him for at least a little bit. I also think once hes torn all the finger traps apart I can buy a batch of loose ones and easily refill his toy by stringing more onto it. Every bird is different when it comes to their chewing and shredding habits but I think this is best suited for small to smallish-medium birds. I wouldnt suggest it for big birds, not because they wouldnt have fun with it, but just because I dont think it would last any time at all with their big, strong beaks. I think theyd have it torn apart in no time flat. I think Id just give a bigger bird the finger traps loose to use as a foot-held shredder toy or to add to their foraging toys. Continually trying to refill and string more finger traps onto it for bigger birds would be just too much work.

> 24 hourI have bought this toy countless times. Bonka Bird toys forever has my business because theyre toys are well made and safe for our green cheek. Everything from finger trap toys to thier bullet proof bell toys are top quality. She has an unhealthy obsession with finger trap toys, so I have to keep buying her replacements throughout the year.

> 24 hourA friend told me that her birds love woodchip finger traps so we bought this to keep our parakeets busy. The birds destroyed this thing in about a week. Ive never seen them focus so intently on a toy. I was going to buy a replacement but instead I bought a pack of replacement finger traps from Oriental Trading and have rebuilt this thing about half a dozen times. I dont know if they love it or hate it but it certainly gives them something to do. They are tearing apart the latest rebuild as I type this.

> 24 hourThey seem to like it. Which is a huge achievement since a lot of toys scare them. Its a little big so its definitely not for parakeet size birds.
