You would think with all the electrical engineers out there, DirectTV would have appropriately designed a receiver that included a cooling fan considering the level of heat their product generates. Well with that being said the engineers have created a great product to overcome this shortfall. It has solved the overheating error message, it is quiet, and it simply works.

If you have an equipment Closet this would be perfect. If its anywhere in the same room, pass. This thing is loud, which also means it is cooling very well. So just know that before hitting buy

Fast delivery! Product is well made and easy to operate. This thing actually senses temperature and in the smart setting reduces fan speed as the temperature declined. The auto setting turns on the fan at 87degrees and off at 84 degrees but the fan is on high the whole time. The smart setting is a nice piece of technology that really makes this product stand out.

I was extremely impressed with its performance. I have the Pioneer vsx 1015 wired through an audio source EQ with Spectrum analyzer and have to pile 15 in 1500 watt Subs. Which cranks out incredible sound. So the receiver gets really hot. After I started using the AC Infinity, I now crank my system for hours with the receiver now cold to touch as if its not even on. I highly recommend this for all stereo enthusiasts.

The cooling fans are quite in my enclosed cabinet. The device is durable and works as intended. I only wish they made a USB port to add an exhaust fan. The T line has ports but are 17. The 17 obviously wont stand atop a 12 device. They really need to design an S model with a port. I would still recommend for those who have open consoles that dont require an exhaust fan.

My DVR kept resetting once it got warm. This is a well packaged and built device. Looks good and works even better. Automatically adjusts the fans and is quiet. My DVR no longer resets and the picture is better.

I was searching for cooling fan system to use with my Harman-Kardon AVR quite sometime. Finally I found this item on Amazon. Initially I was not sure weather it works or not. It did great. Keeps my AVR cool. However the noise is high at max. fan speed. Usually we dont need high speed. This is a wonderful item and works as described. Must have product for high heat producing AVRs.
