AC Infinity AIRCOM S9, Quiet Cooling Fan System 17 Top-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

I live near the equator, so it’s quite hot and humid. I bought the aircom s9 to cool my new marantz amp and it does the job as advertised. I use the smart mode and it automatically adjusts the fan speed based on the temperature that’s being radiated from the amp. The fact that it remembers the last operation ‘state’ after power loss is a great feature. Also the provided power adapter is multi voltage (100-240V AC) . In conclusion it’s a well built, quite (relative to the fan speed) product that’s with the money!

Bought this to go on top of my brand new Denon AVR-X3700, because the top would get very warm, an the verge of what I would not be comfortable letting it run at. Denon says its fine, but I didnt feel comfortable leaving it like that in my AV closet. I just put this on top, and set it to smart mode, which was very easy using the included instructions, and not the AVR doesnt even get warm, plus the fan doesnt even go above 25% speed while driving all channels on music, so the noise is basically non-existent. I would absolutely buy another one if I needed one, and would highly recommend it for anyone needing extra cooling

Thus thing fits perfectly ontop of my Marantz 6014, works great and is pretty quiet really. I never see it come on more than 1/4 of the way when set to its auto temp control setting. I run my Marantz all day. Longevity on this seems pretty good. Its been going roughly 6 months with no issue. I highly recommend for added security on your receiver.

This is exactly what my set-up needed. My conrad-johnson vacuum tube preamp was running exceedingly hot once it was relocated to an a/v cabinet. I first ordered the AC Infinity 1238 cooling fan but had a mounting space problem. This component fan solved that problem and has additional features that Im thrilled with, such as the Smart Mode function which shuts the fans off once the temperature drops to normal. Additionally, it is quieter than I thought, even at full speed.

So far so good. Using for surround receiver that was overheating when I listened to music. I have it set to turn on based on its temp sensor. Working great. Quiet. It says it should go on top, so that’s how I am using it, but would rather it on bottom. May try that later.
