> 3 dayAbsolutely love this unit! It works as intended. I have it sitting on top of my AV receiver and have it set to turn on when the temperature of my receiver reaches the heat threshold. Once the receiver cools down, I have the AIRCOM set to go into standby mode. Three settings allow it to run all the time, standby mode, or variable speed all the time. I highly recommend this to anyone who has an AV ventilation problem in their stand and are worried the heat may damage their equipment.

> 3 dayJust what I needed to sink my Marantz into a cabinet. Watching movies at normal volume this keeps the temp cool. Ive only seen the fan speed showing 1/4, so has plenty of capacity in reserve to cool things down if necessary. Cant hear it on the couch 6 away even when the movie is paused. Super easy plug, play, set it and forget it. And it looks good!

> 3 dayI have spent close to a week with it now. I purchased both the S9 and the S6. The HT setup is always running and i have this cooler sitting on an xpa5 from Emotiva. If you run dedicated amps then you all know how warm these things run. No longer the case. The best feature of this product is that its fully automated. Set it and forget it. I have yet to see the coolers run more then a quarter speed the entire time. I was watching Mortal Kombat yesterday and the amps were getting pushed hard on certain scenes. This is an amazing product and like others have mentioned here already built quality, IMO, is above average considering companies really cut corners these days. I had it setup and running in < 5 minutes.

> 3 dayI live near the equator, so it’s quite hot and humid. I bought the aircom s9 to cool my new marantz amp and it does the job as advertised. I use the smart mode and it automatically adjusts the fan speed based on the temperature that’s being radiated from the amp. The fact that it remembers the last operation ‘state’ after power loss is a great feature. Also the provided power adapter is multi voltage (100-240V AC) . In conclusion it’s a well built, quite (relative to the fan speed) product that’s with the money!
