When I first got this and hooked it up, it worked well. After eight months it has quit. The problem was diagnosed to be the power supply plug into the controller unit. The connector itself was alright, it was the internal wiring from the power supply that had come loose. To make it work again I had to cut off the plug and wire the power supply directly to the controller. It was not in a harsh environment (unless you call the back of my entertainment system a harsh environment), nor was the plug in a bind of any sort. What this says to me is poor quality power supply. Another thing that comes to mind is no filters for the fans. When I pulled the back off the cabinet there was lots of accumulated dust (as would be expected). Instead of pulling and cleaning filters, now I have to remove the entire unit from the cabinet and disassemble to clean the fans. The premise behind the unit is a good one, but a little more thought and quality needs to go into the manufacture.

I am very impressed with this product. Very well engineered and constructed. Comes with everything you need and is easy to install with the right tools. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cooling solution for a closed audio cabinet.

Simple to install. Works perfectly. Looks a lot pricier than it is. Excellent value for the price. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Perfect solution! I used to have to open the front door on my AV cabinet when I played games or listened to music with my old fans.

There was a little trouble at first by a little hum in the controller. AC Infinity contacted me immediately about the problem with a bad batch of controllers, sent me a new one ASAP, and it is now very quiet. The only issue I have is that there was no return postage in the box for the bad controller I had to return, so the item actually cost $10.25 more due to the required return postage. I like the fans and controller so well that I havent questioned them about the problem yet. I may order an additional fan, so I might ask for compensation at that time.

Does the job Quietly!!! The thermostat works great and very easy to operate. Good quality easy to install. However mine was missing screws to install the thermostat. Only a couple of weeks since I installed it and have no complaints

We liked the fan panels look and control but the noise level is high. I had to use the lowest fan speed but even at the slowest speed the noise is very audible -- not recommend it for cooling hi-fi system if you listen music

This fan works as advertised and looks professional. They are very quite.
