> 24 hourLuego de un par de años de uso, no hay un IPS mejor que este por el precio. Tamaño de pantalla correcto, colores muy buenos si los comparas con los TN antiguos o que usasn las laptops baratas. Lo unico negativo es que no cuenta con soporte VESA

> 24 hourI needed a 2nd screen. I wanted quality but did not want to spend alot of money. This was perfect. Easy to set up, got good reviews online after doing my research and was not expensive. Very happy with this purchase.

> 24 hourFirst, NOT a gamer, and to put mildly, NOT into tech...at all. Im turning 70 and havent had to deal much with changing out monitors or desktops in some time. I just turn it on and expect it to work. Im saying that so you can tell set up was so easy. My old monitor, that was inches smaller than the 21.5 (I got it over a decade ago) had been used over 11 years and was a floor model when I bought it! It was great, but could tell its days were numbered. I stream movies, email, stuff like that. Just wanted a simple, inexpensive, but decent monitor and my very Tech nephew (he is in charge of tech for a company) recommended this one for what I wanted to pay. PICTURE QUALITY/CLARITY - For what I use for, GREAT. I cant speak to how it would be for gamers. Great for streaming movies. PRICE: It was on sale when I got it so it was a total of about 90 bucks with tax (I have Prime free ship) SET UP - OK the manual I found worthless. Yes, I can just follow the cables, but this monitor was a tad different than my old one. My nephew, in three sentences, over the phone, told me exactly what to do and it was super easy. I DID find it easier to put this monitor in my lap, do the plug ins, put the stand on, and then move to my desk where I connected to my computer rather than try to set it up on my computer table. This monitor is SO much thinner than my last one. I waited to write this review til I had it at least a couple weeks and, so far, very happy. If anything changes, I will DEFINITELY edit! BOTTOMLINE: Would get again.

> 24 hourI have a somewhat older 27” Acer monitor that I couldn’t find a match for at a price I wanted to pay. In fact, it was more economical to buy two of this monitor instead. The other Acer monitor was a deciding factor in trying these ones out for a budget dual-monitor setup. At first, the monitors seemed dim which was rather disappointing, but I tried out some of the display settings which has made the picture much more pleasing to look at. There is a subtle glare when darker images are on the screen which is much more apparent than my other monitor, but not horrendous. In short, there’s probably better monitors out there but for a cheap, 1080p monitor I feel it’s worth it. I will note that the monitors are supposed to be able to tilt. I ordered two, but only one tilts easily. The other one is firm out of the box and doesn’t seem to tilt without manipulating the stand.

> 24 hourHey guys, it’s Enrique here and today we’re going to be taking a look at the Acer SB220Q 21.5-inch monitor. Now, this monitor is priced to fly off shelves and it’s got a quality IPS panel that will suffice for most mainstream use if you want a small display. The monitor has a basic feature set but it’s perfect for those who are looking for an affordable option that still delivers great image quality. The Acer SB220Q has a 1080p resolution and a 75Hz refresh rate which is great for gaming and general use. The colors are vibrant and accurate thanks to the IPS panel which also provides wide viewing angles. The monitor has a slim bezel design which makes it perfect for multi-monitor setups. Overall, the Acer SB220Q is a great budget monitor that delivers excellent image quality and performance. If you’re looking for an affordable option that still delivers great features, then this is definitely worth checking out.

> 24 hourBought this in Jan 2021 during WFH COVID. Still works great. I originally bought this for my PC, but works great for extending my Macbook too.

> 24 hourMy laptop screen finally burned out and I needed a quick but still decent solution since a whole new computer is out of budget right now. Boy, did I luck out finding this! At 22 its about a 5 upgrade from the original screen in roughly the same footprint on my desk. And wow is it SHARP... and BRIGHT! I can now sit back further from my desk without straining my eyes while editing photos, reading, and watching videos. Since Im not a hardcore gamer I cant speak to its performance in that regard, except to say that emulated DOOM ran perfectly smooth and looked great on it :-D My only real gripe is that the buttons for power, display settings, etc are located under the bottom edge of the screen, which is really inconvenient, and theres no labeling or anything on the front edge to correspond to which button is which, so until you learn the layout by muscle memory, you might have to do like i did and keep the diagram from the manual as a cheat sheet. Once you get into the menus, however, there are plenty of options to tweak to your hearts content. I really like that theres a blue light setting for working at night or when you just want to give your eyes a break (obviously, you wouldnt want this on if youre editing photos, but for reading its fantastic). Theres also a display widget for certain models that you can download from the Acer website that gives you point-and-click desktop access to some of these adjustments without having to use the monitor buttons. A nice touch, but it would be nice if ALL the features could be accessed through the widget as well. Setup is plug-and-play; I literally had this out of the box and ready to go within minutes (you will need to supply your own HDMI cable if you dont have one; only a VGA cable is included). Apparently some models have built-in audio; I can tell you that the SB220Q that I have does NOT have audio out, so you will need external speakers to run the sound from your system out to if thats an issue. VERY happy with this value monitor!
