> 24 hourI love new tech but I use my phone for computer stuff more than an actual computer. Take what I say with a grain of salt. This thing is actually pretty solid. The screen is nice with minimal glare. The keyboard is easy to type with. Plus I got it to stay lit by enabling in bios which is easy to boot into. The track pad has a nice feel and not too sensitive. Even the speakers have decent sound but old people might have trouble really hearing them. I was told camera looks fine and I would agree.

> 24 hourFirst computer had heating issues. Exchanged it for another. Second laptop ports wont detect a second monitor when HDMI and USB are plugged in. Repair sent the computer back saying they couldnt replicate the issue. Got the computer back and its still not detecting a second monitor and the USB port no longer detects any monitor, when it previously could detect 1 monitor. I was without a computer for 3 weeks and now I have to send it back.

> 24 hourAlthough I was able to find it a few $s less; it represents a good value for someone who does not want

> 24 hourI thought it was a great deal & purchased it for my granddaughters first year at college for her birthday. Unfortunately, I had to return it since it was not exactly what she wanted. Apparently, a college freshman needs more bells & whistles than her grandfather needs for his surfing & Fantasy Sports Leagues.

> 24 hourI was a bit nervous ordering this computer. I had the older version that was a bit bigger than this one that I was replacing due to age. For the cost, I went for it and crossed my fingers it would work for remote working and basic everyday tasks. So far, I’m very impressed! I was nervous to take the S mode off to install an anti virus. (I’m not tech savvy AT ALL). But I went ahead and did it and to my amazement my computer didn’t burst into flames lol. It’s a great smaller computer! I love the backlit keyboard too!

> 24 hourBought this computer to replace my chromebook because of technical issues during zoom meetings. Im pleased to say that this laptop has the features needed for doing zoom meetings, for example, it gives you the links for interpretation and so forth...whereas the chromebook didnt offer that. The Acer 1080 also is great for accomplishing coding projects, especially for my sons zoom class.

> 24 hourDo not buy this laptop. Yes it works pretty good. But the hinges that allow you to open it are fragile. After only about a year and a half of use one broke. I fixed that one only to have the other hinge break. Its out of warranty, and the hinges are not replaceable. All you can do is tear the thing apart and glue the screws back in...which only lasts for so long. Eventually the hinges will not be repairable, the screen will be ruined...so Ive read...and this is a very very common occurrence with this model. If you Google it, youll see a lot of complaints about the hinges. So if you plan on buying a new laptop every year, then this is the one for you...otherwise avoid it.
