I have had the laptop for just over 4 months, good thing I bought the 3 year warranty. Either hard drive failed or operating system, cant restore to factory. Only had installed Adobe Creative cloud on it and used Illustrator and photoshop many creations lost. Acer had me send it to a repair center in San Jose that doesnt exist any longer, just got the laptop back Friday to send to a different Acer repair shop. Have been without a working unit for over a month. Hopefully this time it gets repaired. Amazon has been very helpful in getting service.

This laptop keeps shutting down and powering off randomly every few days. It happens at least two times per week. I cant use this comfortably for school or work because I never know when its going to power off. That is my only grip that I have. Its a great PC otherwise. I would not recommend this model laptop to anyone.

Product is worthy but the problem is Amazons return policy. I am on day 5 and was just promised I would receive a refund on day 7. Business day 7. Do they really need the interest on my money that badly?

At first I was hesitant buying a laptop off of amazon but I have been more than pleasantly surprised. This laptop is a beast for the money. So far no lag at all, great screen colors, camera is fine, mic is fine, not the loudest speakers in the world but unless you plan on using it outside it should never be a problem. I am super happy with this purchase because besides no touchscreen, this keeps up with my $1200 lenovo and the keyboard on this feels waaayyyy better!

We bought two in order to keep our high schoolers active on homework. With fairly light use they lasted about a year before the power port starting giving out and acting glitchy. The power is now very positional and gives out quickly as the ports are now loose. Id like to think it was just situational but both went out at the same time. We will have to start over with something with more quality parts. The computer themselves functioned well just cheap parts.

Sound card took a crap. Not even a month old!

I bought this laptop for my Dad since his old one was literally a piece of junk. Considering the price on this laptop, this is an excellent deal. So much better than the $300 or $400 budget laptops, right on par with my $1200 laptop I bought a couple years ago. I followed some other reviewers advice and bought the exact same RAM on ebay and installed it myself. Now my Dad can work on his laptop without complaining about how slow it is or calling me for tech support. Capable of lots of multitasking and browsing with no slowing in speed. Great deal!

Excellent screen quality. The keyboard lights up with LED lights so I can see my keys while playing games during later hours.
