> 24 hourMy 2019 laptops motherboard failed and this laptop had the same sized SSD, same amount of RAM, and a better WiFi adapter and better CPU than my 2019 laptop for $200 less than I paid back in 2019. But why oh why did Acer have to make the recycled plastic case such a rough texture? Are you telling me you cant make recycled plastic smooth? Its rough on my wrists and I just started using the laptop this evening. The texture is a great idea on the bottom of the case because it prevents the laptop from slipping easily off your lap, but not great for the touchpad sides surface area. The case front side is beveled in front of the touchpad, but not to the left or right of the touch pad, a poor design choice! Also dont care for the bottom facing speakers on this laptop (too quiet at 100% volume), guess Acer assumed youd be using earbuds most of the time. Its a middle of the road laptop for the price I paid, thus 3 stars.

> 24 hourLaptop came on time and has been working perfectly until I opened it recently and the screen is coming apart - the two layers of the screen is coming apart whenever I open the laptop. Looks like the hinge is causing it. I have to snap the two pieces back together and open it slowly and gingerly. So far it still works but I can’t open it all the way if not it doesn’t slap apart

> 24 hourLast year I bought two small form factor (SFF) computes, an Intel NUC and a MinisForum Ryzen 9 equipped SFF computer. By the time I added RAM, operating system and hard drives, they were both past $1200. Why SFF computers? Because I have two nice monitors that I like to mount NUCs to via their VESA mounts on the back.

> 24 hourAll slots are full. One will not be able to add or expand anything...one can only opt for expensive replacements. The video is not as sharp or fast as one would expect, in fact there is too much glare and is very sluggish as if it is an LCD display from the 1990s. Definitely a low budget machine where the manufacturer cut lots of corners and I will be reminded of that every time I turn it on. Dont bother to remove the base to upgrade as the demo video mostly falsely advertises, I already did that pointless effort and provided a picture. As one reviewer pointed out, what is up with the R and the E keys being printed backwards??? I also had to spend some time removing bloatware, trialware, and crapware. I will grudgingly keep this machine until I find a more proven desirable one.

> 24 hourI bought two of these laptops in August 2022 for my two high school girls as they are required to have laptops at school. It is now March 2023 and both of these laptops are not functional. The hinges on both laptops are so stiff that it no longer opens and it pulls the frame of the screen off of the lid. The cost for Acer to repair this, because it is not included in my warranty, is almost the same as the cost to completely replace the laptop. I checked with a local technician and he cannot even find a replacement part to attempt to repair the devices.

> 24 hourThis is a good laptop for the money. I do not need this laptop for business, but, with the exception of CAD or other graphics intensive design engineering software, Im sure it word be OK for home business use. Im glad I purchased this product from acer.

> 24 hourBattery life is Approx. 4-5 Hours with normal usage. The I7 processor and 16GB RAM are great for basic gaming. One thing I do not like is the speaker quality. The volume is terrible. Seems that the speakers are underneath the laptop itself and can barely hear them unless your volume is cranked up over 50-60%. Price is great for what you are getting so if the volume is not a show stopper then I highly recommend this laptop.

> 24 hourMy stalwart HP gave out on me after 9 years of faithful service, in the middle of the semester, so I had to scramble to replace it. I had never heard of Acer but I liked the specs, the price and the fact that the memory could be expanded easily. Though I miss the touch screen capability, and the CD drive, I am enjoying the Acer. It has bluetooth, is not heavy and the graphite look is attractive to me. I use it mainly for school, not gaming.
