> 24 hourTo start off, I am more than satisfied with this monitor, especially being at only $300 (or $255 at the time I purchased it on prime day). It arrived the next day and in full working order. It was easy to set up and dialing down the settings is very simple. This is my first monitor, so I am not able to really compare it to other monitors. Im too used to 4k gaming to go back to 1080p, but I wanted higher framerates as well, so I concluded that 1440p was a good balance for me. Only considering this monitor, there were no dead pixels, and there is a bit of backlight bleed, but thats to be expected with IPS panels. The 144 Hz is silky smooth, though there is a bit of ghosting, but I cant really notice unless Im testing for it. The HDR works well, but not as well as my Vizio V-series 4k HDR TV. Its still better than SDR. However, I will always choose the higher framerate over slightly better HDR. Also, enabling HDR limits framerate to 120, but thats also just barely noticeable. I havent tested for input lag, but I can assure you its very low, even with HDR on. I notice very little difference in the response time with HDR on vs off. The monitor has an ultra low latency mode that sets it to 1ms. One thing that I wish this monitor had was more image settings with HDR enabled. When I turn on HDR, I cant customize the contrast or brightness or color any further to fit my preferred settings. Again, the HDR 400 works well, but I wish it was a bit better. Another strange problem I had was enabling the HDR in some games. More specifically, Fallen Order and Shadow of War. For some reason, the HDR just looks bad for both of these games. Ive adjusted picture settings in game and on my pc as best as I can and it still looks like SDR. I know it isnt the PC or the games because both of these games looked beautiful on the 4k TV I have, but not on this monitor. That being said, other games look fantastic with HDR. Destiny 2, Metro: Exodus, and others look just as amazing as they did on the TV. I dont know why this problem is happening, but its something to consider when looking at this monitor. The HDR on this monitor is hit or miss with some games. If you arent a super competitive gamer who needs the lowest possible response time, or youre on a budget, or both, this monitor will work well for you. Despite my issues with the HDR, I still think this monitor is a great deal for 1440p gaming. Of course you could surely get a better monitor for $400-500, but this is a good balance for a lightly competitive gamer on a budget. So I give it 4 stars for overall quality, but 5 stars considering its price.

> 24 hourIve had this monitor a little over a month now and I like it, but in some ways it can be annoying. Unboxing and setting up the monitor was a breeze. The only problems I seem to have are firmware related which I believe could be fixed with a firmware update. This monitor at times has issues detecting the input of my PC. This leads me to either unplugging the monitor or the Displayport cable and plugging it back in, which can be annoying as it occurs more often than usual. The screen has gone dark once or twice during gameplay, and the instruction manual that comes with this thing is bare bones and will leave you trying to figure settings and features out. The 1ms VRB setting can only be used if you have your refresh/ frame rate locked at 120hz/fps on your pc or if you play a ps5 game that can run 120hz. This is information the manual should explain. I find HDR 400 to be gimmicky and I rather turn it off. If you can find how to calibrate the picture to your liking its actually a pretty decent monitor. HDMI 2.0 can accept a 4k signal from ps5, which I believe downscales to 1440p rather than being native 4k, but only at 60fps. I like the build in aim feature as it gives you precise crosshairs on the screen, I find this useful for high fps games like apex legends. Ive noticed after a month slight led bleed in the left bottom corner of screen which is more noticeable dure night game sessions, but is tolerable as you only notice it when the screen goes dark. Other than a few cons this monitor can handle the performance of a high end pc, and it actually looks really good and is as smooth as butter during gameplay. Like I said I believe the issues I do have with this thing can be fixed via firmware update. I hope this review helps and Acer gives this boarderlining amazing monitor the support it needs!

> 24 hourIts color scale out of the box was acceptable and with some minor adjustments to the HDR its very nice. No ghosting or lag noticeable in high FPS gaming such as overwatch. There was a minor incident where the screen was stuttering as some others have mentioned however, unplugging and replugging the cables fixed it. Stand is a bit wobly but the rotations and height adjustment are great. I feel that this monitor is excellent for the price point. Some Notes I found out based on a lot of peoples response about what works on it and does not: This is not a G-sync monitor but, G-sync compatible meaning the chip is different but will operate on most GTX 10 series to RTX 30 series GPU. If connected by display port (only works with display port) detected G-sync effortless on my RTX 3070(laptop), 3080, and RTX 2070 Super. Cannot use HDR (HDR will work with HDMI 2.1, 2.0 or DP) with G-sync which is not specific to this monitor but just how that works.

> 24 hourThis monitor is amazing. I got it on sale for $200. The graphics and resolution are amazing!! My games look amazing. 27” is a perfect size for a basic - sized desk. I would recommend this monitor to anyone. Note: the graphics are better if you use Radeon AMD Graphics card, because this monitor only has amd sync premium. It doesn’t have G sync for nvidia. The graphics look better with amd because of the amd free-sync premium.

> 24 hourBacklight bleed is somewhat bad in my opinion, being very noticeable in the corners through certain shades of black, although it is not that bad if you arent displaying shades of black often. But for reference when it is night time (in-game) it gets kind of hard to see a lot of times even after turning off my lights and playing in a dark room. If you do a bleed test, it doesnt come back very bad, and its only during certain shades where it is a big issue. Opposed to the majority of reviews, the monitors color accuracy is really not that great either. Well thats not necessarily true. Its a nice display and has a wide range of colors and shows them beautifully, but the monitors preset color settings are somewhat inaccurate, you will most likely have to tune them a bit. For me personally, my display had a faint red-pink tint to everything bright colored, like white, or cream. For example, characters skin will look sunburnt or blushed instead of crisp and clean. This can of course be adjusted but the tuning is only to eye and always leaves room for error. 1080p looks bad, but to be honest it almost always will for monitors that are made for 1440p. If you are looking to game in 1080p the majority of the time I do not recommend. This is mainly just a note to people reading reviews to lower expectations. 1440p is hard to downscale into 1080p because it is not an even switch so the monitor will be displaying a slightly larger than a 1:1 ratio making images blurry and low quality. Some monitors look better than others and some components try to help fix this issue but your quality will not be good. Other notes include: Its support for HD is good (which reduces some of the bleed when turned on it seems) Its brightness settings are good (I almost always have to keep it low because anything past like 50 will fry your eyes like an egg, especially with the max brightness setting on It is quick and responsive 1440p looks nice It comes with built in speakers, even though they arent the best and have zero depth they work for casual gaming and those of us who are too broke or stubborn to buy some nice ones The stand and connections are made out of mainly plastic but have a metal base Lots of movement from the monitor in all angles, easily adjustable Overall pretty good for the price though, I mean what would you expect? These are all not the biggest issues and for most people wont be that noticeable.

> 24 hourI purchased the 27 QHD version of this monitor two months ago and so far it has been great. Coming from a 60hz, 1080p monitor this thing is buttery smooth during gaming and QHD resolution is a huge step up from FHD. The menu took a little getting use to as far as navigation since my old monitor didnt have a joystick, but its fairly easy and the connectivity is great. The 4-port USB 3 hub is also incredibly convenient for plugging in mic, webcam, external storage drives or whatever else you may need quick access to. A lot of reviewers complained about how dim it was and the IPS glow, but neither has been a problem for me. I have brightness at 100% and while the display isnt going to blind you, it is perfect for my viewing. Also there is some IPS glow around the edges but only noticeable in the dark when the screen in black, which is not a problem as I dont use my computer in the dark. I liked this monitor so much I got one for my brother for his birthday and he thinks its great too. As feature rich as this monitor is, its a steal if you can get it for $300 or less.

> 24 hourDecent affordable 1440 monitor with a nice refresh rate. Biggest issue is the IPS glow makes this unusable for working with dark images, videos, etc. Its not the worse I have seen, but when I have this next to my K272HL its very noticeable.
