this is an excellent laptop. I should have added bigger HHD.

It’s done everything that I wanted it for

So the laptop seemed fine for a short time of course it didnt start having issues till after my 30day return window. I have tried to get help with Acer. Apparently my 1year warranty expired within less than 30 days of owning the laptop & they want to charge me to have it looked at. I have been told its normal for the laptop to get hot. So 90+C is normal. It gets so hot it feels like im burning my fingers when i touch the laptop. I am upset i just wasted so much money i didnt have on Two laptops for gaming and they cant handle any game without getting insanely hot. Windows has also crashed on both laptops multiple times the one laptop started making a grinding noise and refused to turn back on. I bought two of these laptops around the same time so i didnt know they would do this. The other one some how has its warranty still but the other doesnt. (the one that says it has a warranty still they are repairing lets see if that works.) I just wish i could get my money back and get something better that doesnt over heat, Freeze up, and crash.

It was good in the beginning, runs smoothly and plays most games at high frames. Fast forward 1.5 years and here we have a mini-heater, even with fans on max settings the Laptop has frame issues and start stuttering in-game, on low to medium settings! It’s literally unplayable and worthless.

I use it in church to record services and also process and export 4K footage from my Panasonic DMC-GH4. I got this gaming laptop because it was only $1000 for higher specs than $2500 thin, puny creator laptops.

Wont be sugarcoating it, a really good laptop, I used it for about two weeks then just lost touch for it. I am a gamer and I go to college, thought I can have both, but I was wrong. The computer is very well built, and the parts are amazing for the price. The one and only problem I had with this laptop was the battery, I saw that lots of people said 3 hours and I thought Id work with that, but instead, it never reached two hours, I would always charge my laptop, sometimes 4 times a day, and that was a really big inconvenience for me, otherwise, I loved everything.

Amazing for cost, just drains quickly you should use it while plugged in.

(Update: been three weeks since I got this laptop and Im still having no issues. Predator sense sometimes bugs or, but thats a software issue and I found out how to fix it whenever it does. I also found a solution to the battery problem. There are portable laptop chargers that are about $100 that can keep the laptop charged and running for and extra 6-8 hours depending on the chargers MaH.)

I’ve had this product for less than 45 days and am now having to ‘send it in’ for repairs. No help. No sorry. No concern that I’m out of town on business without a working computer. Thanks Acer. I’ve learned a valuable lesson.

Great screen quality, volume, size, EVERYTHING. Im very happy with this Predator purchase
