> 24 hourI love this monitor. It’s a huge upgrade from my last one (both picture quality and Hz). The only complaint I have is with the stand. I saw people in the reviews complaining about its size, but I thought they were just being dramatic. Trust me, this stand is huge lol. Though, at least you have the reassurance that it ain’t gonna be tipping over any time soon. I’d recommend it, but just make sure you’re not someone that sits too close to the monitor, because the stand will be pressing against your keyboard

> 24 hourHands down, this is the best display I have ever owned. Playing MGSV and Fallout 4 is blazing fast and beautiful. I can definitely tell the difference from 60 Hz to 144 Hz, and I havent even tried overclocking to 165 Hz. Response time is also quick at 4 ms. The colors are phenomenal thanks to the IPS display. there is just no comparison after coming from my old Samsung 40. However, make sure to adjust the default settings, as it can be really bright at first. I have a 980ti so I can make use of the built in G-Sync and there is zero screen tearing, even with V-Sync off. G-Sync is supposed to have less input lag than V-Sync, so this is a plus. I guess a con would be you cant take advantage of this with AMD cards. The stand is really nice. It looks much better than in the picture. It also feels very sturdy. Be aware though, you can lower the screen really low so that it stands 15.8 above the desk, but the stand itself will stick out at about 16.8, barely clearing the roof of my desk at 17. I also like that it includes built in speakers; not great, as this monitor should be used with a good pair of headphones, but the speakers are useful when sharing the screen. And then theres the imperfections, which are glaring considering the price tag. My display has a dead pixel just right of center. I know this is within normal limits, but its really frustrating. Moreover, there is significant backlight bleed at the bottom right corner (see pic), which is apparently common with this model. The on screen display (OSD) is very clunky, but after a few mishaps, I got used to it. Weirdly enough, the power button gets stuck and it takes a few presses (sometimes 3) to register; turned off deep sleep and that seems to have helped. TL;DR, I absolutely love this monitor, but Im currently torn whether to keep it or return it. Again, the issues are minor but when youre paying this much for a 27, you expect the best build quality possible.

> 24 hourYea i got these around $272, finished my triple monitor sim rig and I forgot how amazing ips panels can be, i have had one since it was release way back when and it still works fantastic. ULMB made these things great in gaming like fps, and the ips and gsync makes them great in more cinematic or all the prettys mode games.

> 24 hourIm really speechless about everything about this monitor I spent about a week checking and looking different monitors and finally decided to go with this one and I can simply say it was the best decision 100% recommended if you are looking for a small 4K monitor, it is way better than others with more price side note: out of the box for some reason the colors are missed up and brightness is low 1- makes sure you enable Max Brightness mode 2- spend sometime adjusting the colors

> 24 hourBefore I bought this monitor I remember playing on a high end rig at Fortress PC when I was a kid and Ive been searching to find out why it was such a buttery smooth experience playing on that machine. I thought it was the absurdly high end hardware of the machines but it wasnt just that, it was the monitor. Ive been gaming for over a decade and a half, PC gaming for about a half of that, and until I bought this monitor a few months ago its all been 1080p 60 Hz or less. The upgrade to 1440p 144 Hz was incredible. The clarity of 1440p is mind blowing and 144 Hz refresh rate nearly makes me erect (no shame). Playing games at 144 Hz like Overwatch or Fortnite is just something else and you need to see it to fully appreciate it. Is it worth all the money it costs to do it? If you can afford it absolutely. My shooting skills have gone up considerably with the increased refresh rate and quality. If you cant afford it just yet just wait, the prices will drop as technology advances in a few years this monitor may only cost $300. And all of that wasnt even including the awesomeness that is Gsync. Gsync is Vsync but on drugs. It matches your refresh rate of your monitor and gpu so that what you see is what is actually happening without any input lag that you normally get with Vsync. I hope the cost of Gsync goes down in the future but even now I think its worth it because playing less optimized or intense games like Hunt: Showdown, where I get 45 fps the game still FEELS and looks like it runs at 60 fps and that increases the quality of games immeasurably. Even if you cant run 1440p 144 Hz yet with your computer hardware this monitor is a good investment because those games you cant get high framerates will feel so much better. If you cant afford the 1440p 144 Hz version, I still highly recommend the 1080p 144 Hz version because the framerate and Gsync are what make this monitor so good, and why I cant go back to sub 100 fps monitors anymore. 10/10 would get aroused playing games again.

> 24 hourThis monitor is amazing! Coming from 2 24 1080p TN panels 120hz, this is a fantastic upgrade if your pc can handle it. PROS: 1440p is amazing coming from 1080p. IPS panel is AMAZING and just gives your setup a premium look espicially when looking at it from an angle that a TN panel would suffer from. Has an HDMI port! Not many with these specs have them, a really nice plus if you have a console. $200 cheaper than the ROG swift (which has just as much, if not worse reports of BLB).] Games on this thing are AMAZING. Literally has made my gaming experience so much more enjoyable. Cons: Black light bleed. Yes, you wish it wasnt there but thats just a factor of IPS monitors. It is still worth getting an IPS over TN. Stand assembly was a bit confusing, maybe im stupid. I didnt see any instructions but got it together after 5 minutes. Things I was worried about: BLACK LIGHT BLEED: I didnt exactly know how it would look because ive never owned an ips panel. But you can definitely notice right away what it is. Thankfully, it is only really noticeable on black screens. Also thankfully, it doesnt seem to bother any movie watching experience which I was worried about. In the end, it is most definitely worth it getting an IPS panel of a TN panel. 4ms RESPOND TIME: This was my biggest worry. Ive used a 120hz 1ms response time for 3 years and was worried that I would see and feel the difference with the slightly increased response time of this monitor. I play league of legends and battlefield 4. I still cant decide if I notice any delay in my moves, and I think thats a good thing. It is MOST definitely worth it to get an ips panel over a TN panel. QUALITY/LOOKS: I saw reviews of this monitor not being as high quality as the rog swift equivalent and was worried, but holy hell does this monitor looks and feel great to the touch. Ill say the same thing as everyone else, this monitor looks WAY better in person. I did see reports of people having a problem with this monitor wobbling but that is not an issue with mine. Overall, this is one of (if not THE) best computer upgrades I have ever made. 1440p is the next step and it looks amazing. I was worried about spending $800 on a monitor and started wondering if maybe my life priorities werent straight....NOPE. I would buy this monitor again in a heartbeat!!! The only thing I would add is that im keeping the box for this under my bed. Maybe in a another 2-3 years a monitor as good as this will released without the burden on BLB and Ill sell this one to get it. Until then, I am a happy camper and couldnt be happier!

> 24 hourI had a hard time finding a single monitor that could fit the needs of both working from home and gaming, but this one seems to do it! For work, I wanted 4K pixel density, easily accessible USB ports for webcam and drives, built in speakers for calls and notifications, and a one cable connection (USB C). For gaming, I just needed something 120hz+ at at least 1440p. The monitor came color calibrated, has ambient light detection for auto brightness control (trends too dim, but helpful), has a proximity sensor to detect when to sleep if you step away - to save power. For work, 4k text clarity at 28 is incredible (macro shot of text attached), viewing angles are wide, colors are accurate. The speakers are poor for anything other than hearing notifications, or for video calls - better than none! At the end of day, I shut down my work computer and the monitor auto-detects my personal PC and switches over. For gaming, its Gsync compatible, has HDMI 2.1 for consoles and DP input, 144hz, and looks great at any resolution. Max brightness setting on the monitor needs to be enabled for my gaming PC, and that gets more than bright enough. The stand is very flexible, I like that it rotates so easily at the base. Tilt and height adjustable. Portrait or landscape! My suggestions for improvement: remove gamer aesthetic branding from the front. Replace the individual buttons with a joystick - its very difficult to know what youre pressing, and hard to change volume or input.

> 24 hourI had an Acer display once and it was terrible. The quality, the brand identity was not there at all, but this was long ago. Now high frame rate gaming has come to play and Acer seems to be one of the reliable choices on the market (due to its close relationship with Nvidia I suppose). Anyway Id looked into pretty much everything on the market before I bought this. I wish I could go for the dream setup 4K + 144+hz but I think its a little early for that if you dont have so much to spare. 1440p 144hz ips is suffice to get a decent gaming experience with a quality panel which is usually used for displaying more accurate colors than other panel variants . -Overall Design Predator logotype on monitor may please some gaming enthusiasts but as a designer I know it could be better .The red outline (the glow effect) perhaps a little too much but overall its slick design can easily match with Dells manufacturing quality at least for the visible part. The stand has the same red accent color on the tips of the feet and entire thing looks like phoenix persons foot. its quite sturdy and I modified it to use for another display, since Ive been using wall mount for Acer. The reason I had to modify the stand for another Vesa display is because the stands metal panel has two pieces sticking out for the original display to be latched on. Bending it with pliers was quite easy though and since it remains behind the monitor it doesnt need to be perfect. No dead pixels which is great, I cant begin to imagine the frustration to deal with that conversations and shipping back and forth if it had any. Luckily I had none. The menu buttons are okay, some say its not the best experience and I do agree but theyre fine, no issues so far. It comes with Gsync sticker on it though that must be optional. Picture quality, brightness, pixel density are well balanced for a gaming monitor, people who want more may consider other options to get 4k 144 or better which is available but quite an investment for a gamer-soul. -Performance Tested on COD Warzone with RTX 2060S and its so much better than my previous setup (60 hz ips 1080p + older GPU). I wonder whether its significantly better for people who have 120hz monitor because although I get 144 it drops down to 70-120 when I play full res. Lowering resolution does bring it back to higher frame rates for sure but playing 1080p on a 1440p display is just upsetting. That being said I think having constant 144hz is not an easy task if not impossible. Conclusion: Its an IPS 1440P 144hz monitor with full Gsync, so its a no brainer if you have the right hardware. There is not much on the market right now which can give you all of these options. .
