Our dog made a chew toy out of our remote, so we had to find a new one. Ordered two so spouse and I could both have one. No more passing back and forth. Worked fine. No set up was required for us.

The remote did work out of the box, but I will say that the only buttons which function on the remote are “POWER”, “VOLUME UP/DOWN” and “FUNCTION” buttons. You cannot adjust the tuning, or use any other button on the controller. So if you’re looking only to turn it on and change the volume I guess it works great for that.

I bought this remote control for my LG sound bar when I thought I had lost the original one. Even though I found the original remote control, I find that it is reassuring to have a replacement to use when we misplace the original remote if only for a short while! Works perfectly!

It works! Store i bought the unit gave me the wrong controller and since it was the last one, i was given a wrong controller. Oh well
