Alexa Smart Plugs by WISEBOT, Space-Saving Design, Also Works with SmartLife app, 4 Pack

I had a couple of old smart plugs that only support 10A max current and when I used them with my AC, they immediately stopped working and no longer can be powered on. I got this Smart Plug,15A WiFi Outlet Works with Alexa and Google Home to try and they worked fine with my AC without any issues. To my surprise, these plugs are even cheaper than the price I paid for my old models. In terms of installation, these plugs use the same Smart life app and it is straightforward to install. Only 2.4hz wifi is supported, which is expected for the low cost. I think they are definitely worth the price, given that they support high-power devices. Recommended. Could connect to Alexa, Runs off an App

quick update (5/13/22): I did more testing and it is not a 2.4GHz WiFi issue. Short review: it is all bad. Setting up the plug should have been simple in theory but in practice it took several attempts to get the plug to connect to their own app. Linking to Alexa seemed to work with on and off commands but was unresponsive for a timed on/off routine. Finally there have been frequent communication disconnects such that their own app didnt work. This required deleting the device and starting all over again. After a half dozen of these events, I gave up. Part of the issue may be that the plugs are 2.4GHz WIFI devices only? Regardless, Im done trying. There are a lot of Alexa compatible plugs that do work reliably (I have a couple of brands) so Id recommend looking at other products. The experiences Ive had may be unique to me but I dont think it is worth your effort to find out.

Unless you have 2.4 ghz wifi these do not work. Waste of money.

Super easy setup and I can use an existing app I already have. These are great and a great price.

I love the Alexa integration

I know there are different smart devices out there but I personally am a fan of the whole Amazon Alexa system. This plug worked absolutely wonderful with my Alexa set up/smart home. I like the fact that these are rated for more electricity flow than your standard plugs. I was needing a plug to put on a icemaker that I want to be able to turn the power off to remotely. This one works perfect for that. Was very easy to set up using the Gosund app. Once set up you can control your device plugged into this by the app or smart device. You can also set a timer on when it operates. Seems to be a good solid product. Recommended. Will definitely buy this one again.

It works but its bulky so only one can fit in my outlet at a time

I ordered these bc the remote for my tv went out. It worked fine for a few days but then it wouldn’t. In the Alexa app it would say it was off but the plug would be lit up saying it was on and when i would push the button or tell Alexa to turn it on/off, it would swap and say the opposite but still wouldn’t be on. It was a pain to connect even following the instructions.
