> 3 dayI like how this backpack looks. It also feels like its much higher quality than my old backpack (the embark jartop one from target). Its not as flimsy, and it keeps its shape when you set it down. The handle on top is nicely padded, and the shoulder straps are alrightly padded. Its not the best padded shoulder straps, but theyre at least better than my old ones, and they feel comfortable enough to wear. The backpacks also pretty spacious and has a nice amount of pockets. I especially like the addition of the zipper pocket inside the main compartment and the pocket on the outer backside. I feel like I have more negative things than positive things to say about it, but Im just not great at complimenting. I actually quite like it overall and plan to use it for the next few years. Here are my complaints. Firstly, when you open the main compartment, if you have anything in the two bottle holders, like a bottle and an umbrella, those items will get in the way of your zippering. This is why I prefer my old backpacks jartop opening. Secondly, neither the compartment at the back nor the padded laptop sleeve within the main compartment have a false bottom or any sort of bottom padding. This means that, if you put a laptop in there, when you set your backpack down, youll have to be gentle. Otherwise, your laptop will hit the surface. I use the inateck laptop sleeve with this shockproof rubber material, so I dont hear any noise of laptop hitting surface when I set my backpack down, but it does take up a good amount of space. Thirdly, the magnets for the buckle are difficult to click into place. I often have to slowly move the magnets around until they click into place. If I just close the flap, they wont attach securely. Fourthly, this second compartment (fourth pic), which they call the phone and organization pockets in their video, only comes with one zipper! It feels like they skimped out on me. Cant I have one more zipper? Its a small thing and it doesnt take much more effort to zip further, but it still annoys me. Fifthly, their easy access pocket (third pic) goes all the way down. Other people might like this, but I prefer a shallow easy access pocket, because many things I like easy access to are small items. With this pocket, any small items will just get lost and jumbled up at the bottom, and you wont be able to see down there very well. Youll have to feel around to get any specific small item you put in there. For now, I just keep a spare mask inside a ziploc bag in there. I feel like its made more for things that are thin and long like letters. Finally, Im not sure why this is, but the brown backside is much more exposed from the side view when you wear it compared to the backside of my old backpack. With my old backpack, you wouldnt really see any of the backside from the side view when Im wearing it, but with this backpack, you see quite a bit. It feels odd for me to look at. Oh, actually, one last thing. This is my first time using a canvas backpack, and its certainly heavier than the polyester ones Ive had before. Still, now that I no longer carry textbooks around, it feels light enough for me to carry around.

> 3 dayLet me just start off by saying how VERSATILE this backpack is - not only in its function but in its design as well!! I got myself the one in Olive and was excited to use it for outdoorsy summer trips when my friends and I go camping (because of its 100% durable cotton). But news got even better when I actually got the backpack in my hands to check it out...it just has SO many well built-in features that make your everyday life easier (one that I especially love is its dual bottle holder for that all-day hydration!) and I found myself reaching for this backpack on days where I just needed to pack a little extra with me for the day. Ive been taking it to cafes with outdoor seating when I want to get some sun with my laptop and this backpack holds an incredible amount without looking bulky! Theres a lot of great backpacks out there but this one is the one Im constantly grabbing for to bring my belongings in a sturdy AND stylish way. Im so glad I ventured into something new this time and got myself an Ama Dablam because Im telling you - YOU will also take this wherever you go like I do!!!

> 3 dayI just got this backpack a few weeks ago and I love it! I take it for all uses, hiking, studying, and it will be my school backpack as well. Its great that theres so many compartments in there and I am able to finally have the things in my backpack well organized and in place. Its super comfortable and the fabric feels very durable and smooth too. Definitely recommend!

> 3 dayI’ve purchased a few bags. Most are flimsy and poorly made. This one is sturdy with nice zippers. The picture does it justice and the size is nearly perfect. The width is just a bit narrower than I thought but still near perfect. The material is sturdy canvas type and the seams are well done. 5 stars for sure!

> 3 dayI liked. -meterial It was very sturdy and padded well enoough. Lifting from the the straps I could feel the whole bag being pulled up. The cheaper feel like they are being pulled from the connection points. Magnets on the front straps was a nice touch. I ordered this ready for the hassle of having to u buckle the front pocket all of the time but it was a lot easier with the magnets instead. I keeps it shape most of the time while my old one would melt on top of itselft whenever I placed it down somewhere. I did NOT completely like the laptop pocket since that was the main reason for upgrading. The listing sais it is for a 15.6 laptop. While it technically did fit my laptop. It was barely in my comfort range. I would of preferred if there was a tiny bit more wiggle room. The corners are at a slight risk in my opinion and Everytime I pull it out, Im in the position of having the zipper brush against it. Its not an issue now but years of pulling out my laptop will definitely cause some wesr and tear on it from the zipper teeth. Over all though Im pretty happy with the design and quality of this bag. I did remove the logo from the front because I thought it was a bit to big. But still. I really like this bag and would recommend it. Also the yellow bottle in the photo is a Takeya 32Oz bottle. Dimensions: 10.24”H x 3.58”W x 3.82”D. I believe it is the comfortable limit of the bottle pockets. Anymore and it might not last long. Would recommend any 24Oz but current heat in San Jose has me carrying the 32Oz. Very useful pockets.

> 3 dayThis bag is a great size and has lots of pockets for storage of various items, however the snaps on the front pocket came apart after only a few days of use. I was very disappointed, especially for the price paid. I expected it to be a bit more sturdy.

> 3 dayThis backpack is very well made. I’m a medical student, and it carries my books, tablet, and computer without an issue!! I love the design and functionality of this backpack as well. I’m very picky when it comes to the bags I use, and this one definitely exceeds all of my expectations!
