I have a 37V battery bank that I charge from solar panels. I have a DC-DC switching step down converter for running my Raspberry Pi 4 at 5V from my solar powered battery bank. The problem was, there is a lot of input capacitance in that DC-DC power supply, and it was create a big spark whenever I connected power. Not anymore!
