This is the greatest little stand. I got it to put on my dresser (also black) so I could put a lamp and my Bose Wave on it while having my DVD player under it. I think I may have to get another for my chest of drawers. I am very pleased with it. Delivered promptly. Assembled in about 2 minutes.

I needed a strong monitor stand that would allow storage of a large connected laptop and a powered usb hub. Additionally I needed to be able to temporarily store my keyboard during work processes on top of that laptop. This type of set up means rather a few cables for various devices. This monitor stand is the perfect solution.
