I was worried about this processor not being suitable for my motherboard, but after taking a closer look it was ready to go out of the box with no BIOS update necessary. I am very impressed with this processor and I get fantastic benchmark scores.

For the time being Im giving this two stars simply because the CPU cooler stripped out the backplate screw holes. The screws in the Wraith cooler are woefully short and the pressure springs are so strong that once the screws are in the backplate threads they start ripping threads (no pun intended) out of the backplate. I just had to order a new cooler to replace the included cooler.

Arrived quickly and in good condition. Instillation went well (easier for me my son was building it for me lol) and product works perfectly.

AMD investit très fort en R&D depuis des années, et cela est devenu payant ! Ils sont revenus en force pour nous présenter Ryzen, une plateforme évolutive au prix agressif pour dexcellentes performances ! Il remplace mon i5-6500... Un petit test de compression vidéo en x264 sur Handbrake : de 140 fps, je suis passé à 240 fps ! Température avec ventirad original : 75° et bruit assez fort par contre... En activant mes 2x140, la température a baissé à 68°, mais ventirad toujours bruyant... AMD a pris Cooler Master en sous-traitant pour la fabrication de ses ventirads, bien lui en a pris, mais prévoyez un ventirad plus imposant pour retrouver le silence... Je recommande cet AMD Ryzen 5 2600 bien sûr !
