Such a great value for a 6 core 12 thread CPU. The stock cooler (wraith stealth) that comes with the 2600 is decent, and keeps it cool within its base and boost clocks, but if youre looking to overclock an aftermarket cooler is absolutely required.

While i would personally recommend getting something like the 3600 instead, I got this when building my pc, and it runs great. Ive never had issues with it and ive been using my pc for almost 4 months now. This is a really good entry level CPU. The stock fan works well, and I mostly (according to Core Temp 1.16) get 50 degrees Celsius when running a more CPU intensive game like Team Fortress 2. This is a good recommendation if you are just making something entry level, although I feel the 3600 may have already replaced that spot. Either way, this is a great CPU

Un procesador de 10 se comporta muy bien en juegos, he probado tanto esté como el 2600x y el 2700 y sinceramente no veo normal pagar más por el 2600x ya que no se nota nada de rendimiento extra y si te preocupan los GHz le haces un pequeño overclock con la BIOS y arreglado

So I upgraded from a 4 core i5-4690k and Im seeing a huge difference in the speed of my computer. Im getting great FPS on my games and games that ran poorly are now running amazingly. I paired this with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 1070ti graphics card. It was very easy to install, but I didnt use the fan that came with it. I got a Corsair H55 AIO and that was easy to put on this. It keeps the CPU very cool and I was able to overclock it to 4.1Ghz. I highly recommend you pick this up if youre looking to upgrade from a 4 core CPU and want to save money.
