AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler - YD2600BBAFBOX

For casual gaming, this processor is very capable for its price. Definitely better than the 3600 for a budget build.

Running this on my work computer running Ubuntu 18.04lts. Its always on and running a lot programs, even my non-work related stuff like Cura4.0 for slicing 3D prints. :) No complaints at all. This is my first AMD CPU and so far, so good.

Upgrading from an old Haswell i5 system to THIS, it was like night and day. Some games seem to like the Ryzen CPU less than my old Intel one (looking at you, Starbound!), but otherwise, it tackles everything I throw at it.

Reading a lot of articles on wether to go with an intel cpu or rather stick with AMD Ryzen (for the first time) i decided to go with the Rhyzen 5 2600. Anything higher is not needed really since this (with master rhyzen app) cpu is really a breeze to overclock.

The item arrived in a very short time (remarkable, given that it was an international shipment) in perfect conditions. Though I cant say Ive put it in some serious stress, for what Ive seen so far it works pretty fast without overheating (which could sound obvious in November, but the room where I keep the pc is quite exposed to sunlight and thus a little hot even in winter).

La familia Ryzen ha mostrado ser una de las mejores apuestas en la actualidad y me quede maravillado por lo bien que ha trabajado en mi computadora. Los recomiendo ampliamente y más con la tercera generación que acaba de salir.

Tenía mis dudas de este procesador a la vista de los nuevos Ryzen que han anunciado pero no me arrepiento.
