2600X is a binned CPU which means it overclocks well but it will definitely run hot with precision boost on will easily get up 95 TDP under synthetic and about 85 under gaming. If your buying to overclock buy yourself a cooler for this and update bios on motherboard great for up to a 5700

Wonderful step up from FX8350. I had been looking to buy a Ryzen since the 1st gen came out. The 2600X came up at such a great price I had to get it. Ubuntu runs amazingly well on this. Qemu/KVM runs super smooth on this.

Got a 2600 instead of a 2600X still a good chip but since I need the computer to stay running I cant send this one back to get my X version that I paid for.

My son plays World of Warcraft, Overwatch and SWTOR. We added a MSI Radeon RX 580 Gaming X 8GB 256-bit GDDR5 Graphics Card and altogether this setup seems to be working pretty well. The only problems weve had were minor driver problems easily corrected. In a while since I installed or bought a new gaming board and this one seem to seems really cool. Theres lots of bells and whistles overclocking will be no problem as long as its got a good cooling system on it.

Ive been using this processor for about 3 months now and its amazing. The first on died on me, but thats not unheard of among many processors, and amazon was swift to replace it.
