Upgraded from an i5 6600k @ 4.5. I noticed a speed increase in everything. Runs p95 stable at 4.3 all cores. Pretty good for this chip.

Solid processor, at a great price. Got it as an upgrade to my 1st gen system. It’s nice to see I can still buy parts compatible with my motherboard. Someday I will get the last buy of the 3900X or the 3950X and turn this machine into a solid server.

The CPU is very good and have a good performance, but the stock cooler isnt good enough. I got my first unexpected shutdown playing a video game (GTA V in medium setting) in the first week with my new build for over heating on the CPU. To fix the problem i had to buy the Hyper 212X Turbo.
