After being an Intel fan for the last 10 years, it was a little hard to look at an AMD chip. But, the reviews could not be ignored… So, I did it, and boy am I glad I did! This is profoundly fast! The only negative thing I will say is this – get a better heat sink… The included one lets the CPU get too hot when you’re really beating on the computer…

Great overall CPU, when paired with a decent GPU you have a solid gaming PC! The stock cooler sucks, recommend you buy a hyper 212 Evo or Noctua if you do any gaming or your CPU will reach upwards of 80 degrees celcius

Great fast processor...

Brought along with a B450 Tomahawk motherboard. Easy to install, works great, no issues.

I updated from R3-1200 to R5-3600. Gave the expected boost. Old memory was not compatible.... PC kept rebooting so I had to update memory. I probably should have started from motherboard up with a large update like I did. Still provided the boost in throughput/capacity that I wanted.

Such a great processor, weather its the price or the all rounded goodness, decent amount of cores, decent pricing and decent performance
