Intel may give you 5 more fps in games but this is far better for productivity such as video editing, streaming, and heavy multitasking. Plus the included fan is quite, cools very well, and has pretty colors. I found this chip and fan far easier to install than the hyper evo 212 cooler.

A big jump from my FX8370. Performs really well, and ive seen massive performance increases both in games and video editing.

So far this thing is a beast, the provided cooler its plenty for stock speeds.

I ordered this Product with an ASUS ROG x-470 F Gaming motherboard since this particular build is popular on the internet (mainly Youtube ryzen test videos) and I knew it would be compatible with brand new ram and my existing GeForce 1080 Founders Edition. Took 2 weeks to get all the parts in the mail (not amazons fault, COVID-19) put everything together, NO video output. Had to spend more money to buy more parts, tested all original parts with different CPU, works fine. Moved 2700X back in play, No video. Currently Running Dual core AMD Anthlon when I should be running an 8-Core Ryzen. Everywhere online says DOA. I Returned yesterday and bought a new one from Amazon, will update my review when testing that one until then... 1 star.

Update: This CPU has heating issues, I upgraded my graphics card to an RTX 30 series which before was a GTX 980 TI didnt had that many issues except heating for no reason. I dont know why and at the end I just had to buy a 5600X which stays at 45C in idle while this CPU would give me 60c in idle and when I game it goes up to 86c and it turns off. I had this heating issue for a long time and was giving me stability issues so I upgrade to a 5600x which I just had to update the BIOS and boom no heating issues anymore. The stability is much better with my RTX 3060 in gaming. I just game so a 5600X is all that I need. This 2700X is going on sale on ebay if someone is using a water cooler in there system because a cheap fan is not enough for this CPU.
