Bought this instead of a 5600x for the extra cores since I do alot of video and photo editing. Was running a 2600 with a 3070 which was a bad idea becasue of major bottlenecks, but not its bottleneck free. I can 100% recommend this CPU paired with a RTX 3070. You could probably get away with a 3600, but if you want maximum performance go for this or a 5600 if you want even higher fps.

An AMD Ryzen 3700X bottlenecks a 2070S: the 3700X costs 40% more money for 11% less performance. The lost performance is similar to downgrading from a 2070S to a 2060S - trusted user benchmark site. Had I been aware of this issue when building my rig, I would not have purchase the 3700X.

Sure, theres probably something that AMD will make in a year that is cheaper and better? But since this came out in 2019 it was and still is an absolute power house for a very reasonable price. And the TDP is downright small-- I dont use the stock cooler, but you easily can.

Très bon processeur, mais attention, besoin dutiliser un processeur ancienne génération, si vous voulez le mettre à jour sur une carte ancienne génération. Difficile pour un montage dordinateur complet a moins dacheter un deuxième processeur génération antérieure.
