Ive built my first ever desktop pc for gaming and personal vfx work and this processor is worth a shot for the start. I paired this with B550 gaming Plus Motherboard from MSI. And it booted out extremely fast and windows 10 installed in just 4 minutes. Pair it with Samsung Evo 970 plus SSD for extreme speeds. And also Corsairs 3200Mhz RGB RAM Sticks. Thanks to Appario Retail n Amazon.

3700X gets very hot. Be sure your motherboard has a decent VRM. Also, be sure you have a top of the line cooler, AIO or AIR. Be sure to have decent case air flow as well. Performs beautifully.

not sure if its still going on but i got the ryzen 7 2700x for $180 over at microcenter. 8 core 16 thread processor for 180. also the 2600x is 100. they have great prices on microcenter compared to these so i suggest you go check it out

Très bon processeur, mais attention, besoin dutiliser un processeur ancienne génération, si vous voulez le mettre à jour sur une carte ancienne génération. Difficile pour un montage dordinateur complet a moins dacheter un deuxième processeur génération antérieure.

First AMD processor I have owned. I am very satisfied with the value and performance. Much better value than similar Intel products.
