> 3 dayMy first pc build and it runs great. With my 2060s it hits 144fps while streaming in pretty much all games. The stock cooler works great if you want to save a little money and upgrade later on.

> 3 dayI got this cpu not so much for gaming, but mostly so that I could run several virtual machines and containers at the same time as many instances of chrome, Firefox and visual studio code. Its definitely a huge improvement over my previous cpu, an Intel i5 with only 4 cores. My build times in visual studio now take about half the time :)

> 3 dayIve been buying and using Intel CPUs for as long as I can remember, but with the current state of the CPU market, it was extremely compelling to go AMD for my rig upgrade. After all, Ive been using an i5-3470 since it came out in 2012... yes 2012.

> 3 dayAs said in the headline, it gets a little hot with the wraith prism cooler, so if you want better temperatures, you might want an aio or maybe something to that effect. Its a really good cpu though, really good.

> 3 dayBought this instead of a 5600x for the extra cores since I do alot of video and photo editing. Was running a 2600 with a 3070 which was a bad idea becasue of major bottlenecks, but not its bottleneck free. I can 100% recommend this CPU paired with a RTX 3070. You could probably get away with a 3600, but if you want maximum performance go for this or a 5600 if you want even higher fps.
