I may have a well binned chip? It boosts to 4.4GHz on default settings without any thermal problems (using an aftermarket cooler), in a cpu-z bench test it beat the score in comparison to the listed 3700X.

Received it with bent pins I got a new one from Best Buy so the product is not bad it’s really fast just disappointed the one I received from Amazon was faulty.

I had to lol at some of the reviews. This cpu is perfect even if it is a slightly more pricey. Since Ryzen 4 is coming I kind of regret not waiting as the prices would be similar but I am confident this cpu will last me for an another 8 to 10 years easy unless the new games do not support this cpu like what they did to phenom

This Ryzen 7 processor blow me away!

I upgraded from the R5 1600x on a B350 motherboard to the R7 3700x with the B450 MSI Carbon Gaming with an NZXT Kraken x73 AIO with 360mm rad, and kept my 1080Ti on both systems. I set up the board, CPU and RAM as a test bench first with the standard AMD Wraith cooler, after using Flashback on the MSI Bios to install a 3000 series compatible Bios on the B450 chipset.

İt only worked 7 months. Now cpu is dead. I changed every part of computer and finally found the problem is cpu. Cpu shutting down computer every minute. Thermal paste is new. Even computer shutting below 40 degrees.

I had a major upgrade and decided to go for this over the ryzon 5 3600 just for more future security, and it’s performing extremely well.
