> 3 dayGreat CPU. don’t let a few reviews about high temps discourage you Highly recommended you will instantly notice the speed, load time, higher frames and less frame drops

> 3 dayWhen my i7 7700k died, I had “that” debate. I decided to go with this chip and I regret nothing. While not being the “latest and greatest” it still holds its own and really does all I ever ask of it. It is super stable and has really good drivers and software.

> 3 dayThis is actually my first Ryzen and have had no issues yet. I went from intel 5820k to this so Im thankful its working seeing as I have no other equipment to test if it was faulty. Rest temp is around 30-35c and on temps around 30-42c. While playing COD for several hrs it hit about 62c so everything checks out so far and its definitely a few steps above my previous CPU

> 3 dayYes, this processor idles quite hot. However that is completely normal for the 5000 series chips. Ive been using mine for a few months now and with no issues whatsoever; after adjusting the fan curve for the cooler its absolutely fine. Ignore the comments about heat as they clearly havent seen AMDs statement regarding them. Temperatures are you expecting to reach up to 90c under intense load and idle/passive of 30c to 50c.
