> 3 dayI upgraded from the R7 3800x. I play at 1440p 144Hz with a RTX 3080. I’m seeing a pretty good increase of FPS across all my games. The only complaint is that the CPU runs super hot compared to the R7 3800x. While gaming it can go up to 87 degrees in matters of seconds. I played with the undervolting settings in bios and was able to bring my temps 10 degrees cooler with no decrease in performance, otherwise great CPU for gaming.

> 3 dayNow that this processor is being sold for less than 100 more than the 5600x, its a no-brainer. It is well worth the little extra money youd put to it!

> 3 dayUsing a Coolermaster ML360 to cool, it idles at 31c. At 100% load Ive seen a max of 71c. Gaming usually gets it up to around 53c on a heat soaked rad.

> 3 dayShould you buy the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X over other 8 core CPUs in the market? Well, it depends upon your choice and preference, I won’t say AMD made the 5800X cheap as at the same price you can get a Ryzen 9 3900X, but you would not get that much gaming performance.
