Anker has the solution with their USB-A to USB-C adapter. Plug your USB-A device/drive in the adapter, plug the adapter into the USB-C port on your computer, and Bobs your uncle! Works great, sells as a pair (so you can connect more than one device at a time, which is really handy), the price is good, and Anker is a solid company. Whats not to like? I sure like and use mine, and I think you will too. Highly recommend this adapter. 5 Stars.

Greater than one weekIt works for USB-A anything. I’ve used it to run VR off a laptop with too few USB-A, Hook up mice and drawing tablets, and USB flashdrives. It also works if you have a USB-C charger (like Apple’s new ones) and you want to use a USB-A cable like micro-USB to charge something else.

> 3 dayThese adapters are at least as sturdy as other USB-C connections, with the weakest point still being the nib on the end. The adapter converts the USB-A as expected, and I did not notice any signal degradation or performance issues on the peripherals attached.
