With everything switching to USB-C, these converters are an essential tool to have. I use them when connecting to old external hard drives and for connecting usb sticks to use on 3D printers and CNC machines at my school. They’re portable, and easily fit inside a backpack pocket and the quality feels amazing. It’s metal and sturdy and it’s just a secure fit.

Disappointed in Anker technology and adapters for the first time. I purchased these adapters so I may more easily connect my devices to my Newer MacBook Air With USB-C adapter ports. I normally use a large cable connected adapter with multiple ports, but I wanted something simpler to connect cables directly to my computer. I was excited when I arrived and incredibly disappointed to find that while they charged the device when connected to my computer none of my devices were even recognized by my MacBook. I connect multiple devices and not a single one was recognized. I tried sinking my Garmin Edge, Garmin FR 945, and my iPhone and “no joy” with any of them.

Works as it should, Anker does deliver a quality product.

Just what I needed to attach external backup drives.

I loved this product, it works perfectly to connect my AudioTechnica mic to my MacBook air. I only needed one, so I gave the second to a friend who was looking for the same thing! Highly reccomend!

These have worked very well. My new MacBook Pro has 3 C ports, but I have a USB 2 BT keyboard dongle, and backup hard drive. Sure makes the transition painless. I like that these are compact size, I can take them along when I carry my MacBook.
