> 3 dayThis unit is a rock solid update. Its a work horse. We have a midnight m2 air which is beautiful and amazing. But thats like a pretty small sports car. This mbp 14 is like an F150 work truck for serious business. No issues with it at all unlike previous models. I threw in a flush 1tb extreme sdcard into the slot. You can get flush cards for the unit which hold micro sdcards. Thats what I did. Im keeping movies, photo albums etc on that. I also threw on a clear cover case which shows the great looks of the mbp. I also wanted to protect it from the beating it will take with my travels. The only thing that could make this better is if it came in a new color like midnight. Also the usbC ports are tight. Nothing falls out as it holds well. If you need low weight then get the air m2 but otherwise for heavy work get this unit. It also charges off usbC as well as magsafe

> 3 dayI’m glad they got rid of the Touch Bar. I prefer real buttons. However, the Touch ID is nice. Overall the new Pro is a worthy upgrade.

> 3 dayI was told to stay home and wait for delivery of my laptop, so I did. However, UPS just dumped it on the porch and left. They didnt ring the bell or ask for a signature. I wouldnt have even known except my dogs started barking like crazy. When I went out to get it, I found the package open, plus it was damp. There hadnt been any rain. The laptop was safe and after unpacking, I went to plug in my wireless mouse, only to find there was no longer a standard USB port. When I called Apple about this, they told me that I was out of date and no one was using the larger USB any longer. So, I went to buy a USB C wireless mouse and found that all they sold were standard USB mice. I ended up having to buy a USB to USB C converter. When I went to set up the machine, it turned on when I moved it. I had not clicked anything. This concerned me. Why would the machine do that? After getting through the basic issues, I was able to get it set up and turned off. It seems to me that Apple should be a lot clearer about changes like no standard USB port. I would have bought a converter when I purchased the machine. Speed seems good. There were a few glitches getting things set up. Still, why would it turn on by itself? Why did Apple think that simply getting rid of a standard USB port was the right thing to do without clarifying in documentation. I hadnt bought a new Mac in years because they do last a long time. Hopefully, the worst is over and I can enjoy the new machine.

> 3 dayThis new MacBook Pro M2 is incredibly fast and the fit and finish are on par. Adobe Lightroom is no match for this machine.
