Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

I was putting a new cooler and bigger cooler on my Ryzen 7 7700X CPU, and I needed some thermal paste and the first stuff that came to mind was Arctic Silver. I did have some from years ago, like ten years ago (thats how long Ive known about this stuff), but I didnt trust it; better to buy new. This stuff keeps my Ryzen 7 7700X at 40c at idle.

This would be like the 8th time Ive bought AS5TP and each time I buy it I happier that I did an not some other Thermal Paste.

Used the pea method. My machine no longer over heats.

My machine was hitting thermal shutdown because I accidentally breached the thermal paste seal trying to install a new fan. So, after cleaning it off and applying this stuff, my CPU temp went from 160-180 averages (F) down to 100-120 averages. Nicely done.

Solved uneven heating issues. Much, much better than the pre-applied crap the factory puts H100i coolers.

only brand of cpu paste I trust, never dries out, even coat, pulls the heat away and easy to clean up if needed.

Does it job. Does it well. Has kept my computer running cooler (along with a better cooler...) While playing Cities: Skylines.

Easy to use and in a very convenient package.

Arctic Silver, the great stand bye still delivering after all these years, If you have used the older formulas you will be slightly surprised this formula is way thicker then the older generations.
