Arctic Silver 5 AS5-3.5G Thermal Paste

Artic silver is like the default thermal paste now the standard.. however if you want top performance go with grizzly. Still cant go wrong with artic though

Works great. Used on my wifes AMD Athlon 955 BE with a Corsair h50 cooler. Temps idle at 36C and rarely get above 50C, which is 5C cooler than the stock thermal compound that came with the h50. Make sure to check the application method for your CPU to ensure optimal performance.

This worked in my computer when it was overheating and kept crashing when installing a CPU Cooling fan. I highly suggest this as it helped me not have to replace my laptop!

Very good thermal paste. Better than Cooler Master thermal paste that comes with the hyper-12 evo

This stuff is the bomb! (TSA agents: this stuff is not literally the bomb.) I cleaned the old gunk off of my chip/heatsink and put on Artic Silver as per the directions of other reviewers here. My CPU now runs 4 deg cooler at idle, and 15-20 deg cooler at full throttle!

Ive used Arctic Silver for many years building computers and have never had a problem with these tubes. I love that they have it in a syringe style to make applying it to a CPU a breeze. Because a small dab with work, there is plenty left over for other applications and other computers that may need it.

Seems to keep the temps down on the Core i5 outside of the stock cooler. Tried a larger and a smaller amount and with this compound it definitely seems like less is more. Try a size smaller than a pea in the middle of the CPU for best results.

I used this during a CPU upgrade so have no before and after data to compare, but the temperature of my fan exhaust is hotter yet the CPU temp cooler than with the OE thermal pad used before. It was easy enough to apply I didnt have to clean up excess.

Works great so far. Exactly what I needed.
