Greater than one weekI will say this helped to cool down the laptop. it was overheating and now its just warm to a little warm the CPU doesnt get as cool as id like but i think the heatsink is part of the problem now

> 3 dayNice thick and tacky, I never had issues with this stuff, get a 12g tube if you repair computers often, it does not go bag sitting around.

> 3 dayIts overpriced for what it is. The label blocks the users view of how much thermal paste is left in the syringe applicator. The cap doesnt provide a good mechanical lock to the syringe body once its been removed. The cap is pressed in place and held there by friction. Once the applicator is used the tip becomes covered with a thin film of the thermal paste which reduces friction and makes the cap slip off when it shouldnt. If I had to but thermal paste again I would try another brand. Packaging is important when you purchase 12g of thermal paste and expect to reuse it in a few months or years.

Greater than one weekIf I buy something electrical with heatsinks I pretty much always replace it with this stuff as everything usually comes with the crappy white thermal grease on it. Every little bit helps and Arctic silver is one of the best.

Greater than one weekthis is a great item to have when your building more than one computer, because the smaller containers dont seem to go very far.
