I was looking for a shower cap style car seat cover to use with my second child to replace the original JJ Cole Bundleme that I used with my first child. I decided if there was a chance that it was even a little safer, it would be worth the additional investment. I was planning on buying the JJ Cole shower cap style version, but decided to read reviews to see if there were any other options I should consider. The biggest things that changed my mind to the Jolly Jumper Arctic were the fact that it had the face flap with velcro to hold it up or down as needed, it opened up wide with two zippers, and there was the attached blanket. I knew I would stick a blanket in the other versions anyway, so why not have it attached so I cant lose it, and as another reviewer mentioned, it cant slip up over babys face. I got the gray version based on other reviewers mentioning that it attracts and holds some fuzzies and hair (as a pet owner), and it is a nice color and goes perfectly with my carseat. I also found that it does not leave a gap by the handle on my Chicco Keyfit 30, as some reviewers mentioned in reviews of the Bundleme shower cap style version, nor does it flap down in the wind due to the velcro and the face flap coming from above, instead of just flipping up and hanging loose as it does on the Bundleme. I am very glad that I continued the search and found the Jolly Jumper Arctic, Im very pleased with my purchase!

This is amazing! Super soft and incredibly warm!! I loved it so much I told my sister to get one for her baby. Love that there is a blanket you can use to wrap up the baby once strapped in the car seat, a nice bonus. Worth every penny!

Easy to put on and has kept baby safe and warm in single digit temperatures- a must have for cold climates!

This product has been a Godsend for the occasional cold morning/nights when transporting my daughter. The built-in fleece blanket is also a great touch. It fits well over my Chicco KeyFit 30 infant seat. Im sad that my child is about to outgrow her seat, and we wont be able to use this product anymore with the convertible car seat that will have to stay in our vehicle.

Best baby buy so far! Living in a cold winter weather climate in Midwest, this is great for an infant. Or not only has the outer layer for protection, but also an inner white fleece blanket I can wrap around babys body. So even if its unzipped or the face peek-a-boo flap opened, the inner blanket keeps her legs and torso warm. Its the only one I could find with the extra inner blanket AND a flap with a Velcro top hold it open AND very warm cover with a super thick liner. I can zip it up completely closed to protect from fridgit wind outside and quickly open up the flap when I get the baby indoors. Her feet and sometimes the whole body do get so warm they get sweaty during car rides (since the heater is on) so I learned not to pot extra layers of clothing on and keep the zipper opened in the car. GRRAT BUY! Highly recommend for cold winters.

I only reviewed the product and it appears to meet the quality and appearance that I was expecting. However, I purchased for a gift and the mother-to-be has not used it yet.

Bought this item for my little one who was born in March and went out and bought another one for my best friend who had her son a week later! Easily fits over both of our car seats (which are different brands) and has a fleece blanket attached inside that you can either put over your little one for more warmth or tuck by their feet if they get too hot. I would recommend this item!

This is the best winter shower cap style car seat cover on the market. Ive tried many and nothing compares. Its very warm and well made. Theres a cotton layer on the outside and a soft thick fleece layer on the inside. There is also a (non-removable) fleece blanket on the inside that can easily be pulled up to cover babys arms and legs. I absolutely love the Velcro flap on the cover because it allows just enough air to enter. At first I worried about cold air getting in and I would cover the gaps with a blanket, but quickly found out that made for a sweaty cranky baby. Ive used the cover on both Britax and Chicco car seats and it fit very well. Awesome car seat cover that stands up to Chicago winter weather!!!
