> 24 hourI already own an Arduino Mega so I knew I was basically just getting a smaller version. I needed something smaller that I wouldnt have to stress about as much if my son happens to trip over the USB wire and send the Mega flying (yeah it already happened, it is ok though).

> 24 hourthe arduino uno r3 board is an excellent open-sourced product! When used alone or piggy-backed onto other computing platforms. It is a great way to begin understanding programming language( C language ;or C objective language... and also binary even). It really opened up the flood gates on my mind and got me in the mood to tackle understanding Technology. It has application with Iphone and Android and can pretty much be used to do just about anything. Pick up a couple of arduino beginner books or even an electrical engineering book to help you embark on your quest. Skys the limit!

> 24 hourIm very happy with the quality of this board. Theres a plastic holding tray included but I didnt need it, and it comes right off. A nice surprise is the pin numbers silkscreened onto the risers. This takes that little bit of guesswork when trying to line up the boards labels with the pin holes. Very handy.
