This iPhone stand is just perfect! I could not have asked for better. The phone is held exceptionally well. I worried that the stand will not be adjustable much, but it is. I worried that I will not find a stand that is screw down. All I could initially find are the suction cup based stands for the car. I wanted a permanent stand. After extensive searching, I settled on this Arkon permanent screw fix phone holder for the car dash. I am surprised that it was such an easy fix. The screws went into the dashboard material like butter. Used wood screws. The stand is now firmly held in place. The arm is adjustable and the lugs and be hand tightened to fix it at various angles. It has given me the EXACT positioning that I need. Did I say exactly where I needed? This stand is a winner! The clasp is very secure during driving. The material does not hurt the phone. It is soft. I did find the inserting process a bit harder than I expected. That is also why the phone sits so securely and solidly whereby the phone does not move or flex if you touch the screen or even press buttons on the side! What more can you ask?!

I have had this for over a year and have had no issues with it. It is very well made and is very adaptable, and what I mean by that is if you make it super tight it wont move and if you loosen it ever so slightly you can adjust it and it stay in the new position. I have had both iPhone and Samsung in this and both worked. It is a little bulky but I would prefer it because this thing will last a long time.
