> 3 dayArteza Outdoor Acrylic Paint, Set of 20 Colors/Tubes (59 ml/2 oz.) Rich Pigment Multi-Surface Paints, Art Supply has 20 good colors, although they need to work on their color names. There are several major drawbacks for this craft paint: • They are as thick as their heavy body paint they sell in tubes. They do not spread easily as do craft paints. • Because of low viscosity (thickness) brush strokes are there to stay. • Most of the colors are not as opaque as their competitors’ craft paints, and not even close when compared to higher priced name brand artist’s quality heavy body paints. • Because they are so thick, they must be thinned to use as a crafts paint, which reduces the color loading even more. • The amount of thinning required to get to craft-paint consistency is approximately 60:40 paint to thinning agent, and that is just too much because it reduces opacity • They remain tacky on the painted surface for days. Found out AFTER ordering and receiving, that these paints are designed to take 72 hours to completely dry. And even then it can feel tacky. There is a bright spot to these paints, though. Acrylic paints dry quickly, much too quickly for effective Ala Prima (wet-on-wet ala Bob Ross style) painting, but this formulation permits an artist to paint Ala Prima for up to an hour after applying the last coat. All in all, a very disappointing paint because it does not work like other acrylic paints and, it is not as opaque as lower priced craft paints. Because I bought this as a craft paint, I feel cheated.

> 3 dayI purchased this set for my pre-teen niece with a strong interest in art. This set has a great variety of colors, providing a complete rainbow for use by the burgeoning artist. She was thrilled and couldnt wait to get her brushes out. We worked on a project together and paint colors were bright and the texture of the paints made them easy to work with. The carrying case is sturdy and a great way to keep the paints contained and organized.

> 3 dayI love these paints! I repaing modle horses for a hobby and these work fantastic! allthough I had to paint a base coat with another brand first. The only issue i had with these is it was kinda sticky at the touck with even 4 hours to dry, and it was super shiny. but shinniness is probly somthing you want in normal art. but aftert sealing my modle horse it wasnt sticky.

> 3 dayI started painting again. I found these paints to be of good quality for the price. I wanted to start lower end as this is only a hobby for me. Great for hobbie or children, In high school and college, I painted with acrylics and paid more money for those paints. These paints are great and vibrant colors. I highly recommend for the price and quality.

> 3 dayI’m a beginner artist who uses cheap paint for practice (Apple Barrel, DecoArt, FolkArt, Master’s Touch). I saw 6k+ reviews and five stars for these and I thought this could be my first step towards semi-professional (affordable) paints, especially since they were on a good deal. Rather disappointed with the results. The colors are well varied, but even the opaque paints are translucent without a thick coat. Blending scrapes the paints off the board and the drying times are wacky — some colors dried in under a minute, while others took ten minutes to set without scraping off the board under brush strokes. I’ve had better results with much cheaper paints. Bought two cases during the sale, returned one, will play around with the other since I only paint to practice right now, anyways. I won’t try these again.

Greater than one weekI bought the set of 60, and love them! They are nice and soft (not thick or heavy), and I havent seen signs of separating, like with some of the liquid acrylics. The colors are vibrant, they go on smooth, blend well and can be pounced through a stencil without them bleeding under it. I do wish there were more blues (they seem heavier on the yellows/oranges), but this set came with some shimmery metallics, which I wasnt expecting. Overall, I am very glad I bought these, and will likely replace them as needed.
